virtual office - what is it and what will it give you

What is a virtual office - and why could it help me?

What is a virtual office?

macbook-336704__340.jpgA virtual office is a service that enables employees and business owners to work remotely by providing a range of business functions accessible through the internet. It also enables organisations to create and maintain a presence in a location without the need to pay rent for an actual space.  A virtual office enables businesses to have many of the benefits of a physical office but without any actual space or desks.

Virtual offices enable businesses to have the following:

A business postal address

This helps businesses seem a little more prestigious than they might otherwise be if they used their real address.  It also helps to keep your private address private, and avoids customers turning up with a complaint at your doorstep.

A registered address

This helps if you're registering a Limited Company and want to avoid using your home address for the public record.  It also means you'll be able to meet the legal obligation Company Directors have to make records available to the public, on demand.

An envelope opening and scanning service

if you’re getting mail sent to an address that you are not physically present at, you can get all your post scanned and emailed over to you, forwarded to your home address or held for collection.  Whichever you choose, you can stay on top of your admin.

Phone services

Studies suggest a phone number for the business which people will recognise as a landline in the area of your address is important in building confidence early on.  Phone calls can be automatically forwarded to a mobile number.

Other office services

We can give you many of the benefits of having an in-house office admin. without the cost.  High speed scanning and storage of important documents, shredding and even mailing out invoices and paperwork are all important components of a virtual office.

These are just some of the services offered by us and other virtual office providers, but make sure you check beforehand. Some might offer less, and some of the premium services might very well offer more.
